Hard Base Clear is a transparent, medium-thick hybrid base coat that works well as a foundation for both hybrid and gel nail designs. You can use it as a classic thin base coat or as a primer for subsequent products.

Hybrid base for hybrid manicure and gel styling
Hybrid? Gel? Hard Base Clear will work for both.
Its medium-thick consistency makes it easier to control the product while working, and the transparent formula does not affect the color of the styling.
You can use Hard Base Clear as:
- base for Gel Polish – apply a thin layer as a base for styling,
- a lotion for hybrid styling – when you need a thin layer of product on the natural nail plate,
- foundation for gel styling – as a base before applying subsequent products.

Hard Base Clear – a hybrid base with a medium-thick consistency
The Hard Base Clear formula was created for comfortable work during styling. Its medium-thick consistency allows for easy spreading of the product across the nail plate, and once cured, it leaves a sticky layer.
The base is soluble in the remover and contains no particles. This product is not intended for nail extensions or regrowth.
In a 36W MULTILED lamp, a thin layer of Hard Base Clear cures in 30 seconds.
Application tips
Good styling starts with a well-prepared nail plate.
- Wash and disinfect your and your client's hands, put on gloves and assess the condition of your hands and nails to rule out any contraindications to the procedure.
- Push back the cuticles with a hoof or stick and work them with appropriate cutters.
- Carefully matt the plate with a buffer.
- Remove dust with a soft brush.
- Thoroughly degrease the plate with Purple Cleaner and a dust-free cotton swab.
- Apply appropriate primer: Acid Free Primer or Acid Primer.
- Apply a thin layer of Hard Base Clear and cure for 30 seconds in a 36W MULTILED lamp.
- Then apply your chosen hybrid or gel styling.
Can Hard Base Clear be used for delicate nail build-up?
Yes. Although the basic product parameters for Hard Base Clear do not indicate that it is intended for building up, the application instructions allow for the application of a second, thicker layer to gently build up the nail and even out its surface.
After application, you can turn your hand to level the product. With a thicker layer, the curing time can be extended to 60 seconds.
If the surface requires preparation, remove the sticky layer with Cleaner Wipe Off, smooth out the base coat with a file or buffer, remove dust, and clean the surface. Then you can proceed to apply the color and your chosen top coat.
